Muscle Food Protein

Muscle Food is made by Advanced Health Nutrition (AHN). AHN’s blend of protein includes whey protein and whey protein hydrolysate. When you combine these 2 types, it helps the body absorb 80%-90% of the protein. With its high BV, it allows the greatest potential for maximizing lean mass. AHN has created a formula for total growth and recovery to maximize gains.
Hydrolyzed whey has been shown to increase IGF-1, which promotes the growth of muscle tissues and helps maintain the muscle while dieting. This formula also includes the combination of:
- Casein
- Calcium Caseinate
- Egg Albumen
These all have a slower digestion rate then whey protein. This allows you to keep your body from failing into catabolic state (muscle breakdown). Taking this protein extends the time your body needs to be in an anabolic state (muscle growth). This will lead to further muscle development throughout.
Also added is
- Aminogen
- Bromelain
- Papain
These enzymes break down protein to utilize the maximum amount of amino acids. AHN combined glutamine peptides with glutamine for greater absorption. When it comes to building and repairing muscles, glutamine is the most important component. It will enhance your protein synthesis and prevents your body from falling into the muscle breakdown state (catabolic).
Creatine is also a part of AHN formula. Creatine is an amino acids that helps regenerate ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate). ATP is the initial fuel for muscle contraction. When adding creatine, it enhances your muscle size and strength to increase your power and output so you can train harder and longer.
AHN came up with an advance complex carbohydrate delivery system named NewTech2. NewTech 2 uses specialized fiber along with low glycemic carbs that bond with nutrients to protect them until they reach the site where the absorption of the protein is taking place. This helps maximize and protein the nutrients that allow your body to use for superior growth and recovery time.
