Ready To Drink Protein
(RTD)

Lean Body iconReady to Drink Protein are the most convenient way to get much needed protein in your diet. When you think of whey protein, you don’t think of tongue-pleasing refreshment. Now you can since they have created protein drinks. A lot of them taste great and pack a decent amount of protein per serving depending on which brand you get. A lot of consumers that are concerned with losing weight make this a great alternative to soda and enhanced drinks. So the best way to start would be to cut those liquid calories.

It comes in a couple different forms…

- Bottle/Carton
- Powder Mix

MyoPlex iconThe bottle or carton can have anywhere from 5g of protein, all the way to 40 grams depending on the brand. The advantages would be that you have plenty of different flavors to choose from. Also can be used for a quick “snack” or if you’re trying to get that extra daily protein. Even not having to shake or whip together a powder shake makes it that much better. The bottles are usually going to offer the most protein per serving. This can come in a liquid form or the thick texture like a shake, ranging from a fruit flavors to chocolate (usually the thick texture).

Powder Mix is convenient single serving of protein isolate that’s ready to add to any water bottle for a quick swig. These will generally have a low amount of protein per serving and really emphasize convenience with single powder mixes. These are a lot easier to carry with you then bottles as well because some RTD protein require them to be refrigerated. Having these quick powder mixes can be the perfect way to get that much needed protein for people on that have busy lives and are always on the go.
